AHA Heartsaver Classes

Who should complete the AHA Heartsaver class?
The AHA Heartsaver course is designed for non-medical personnel who need to complete a CPR and/or First Aid class. This training is ideal for teachers, daycare staff, lifeguards, boat captains, personal trainers, babysitters, students, parents, or anyone needing certification outside of healthcare. Note: Healthcare workers, hospital staff, and medical students should complete the AHA BLS CPR class instead. (Click here for BLS Classes)
What steps are required to complete a hybrid AHA Heartsaver class?
We offer all AHA Heartsaver courses in a blended learning hybrid format. You can complete the online portion of the class at home at your own pace. Once finished, you will schedule an in-person hands-on skills session with an instructor to fully complete the class and receive your official AHA certification, which is identical to the traditional in-person card.

How do I register?
Step 1: Start by completing the online portion of the class on your own schedule.
Your final certification will reflect the specific course you purchased and completed online. IMPORTANT: Be sure to complete ALL optional online modules if your role requires certification in those areas. If you are unsure which option to select, check with your employer before completing the class.
Step 2: Upload your online certificate
Upload your completion certificate and let us know what date you want to complete the in-person skills session. We will contact you to finalize scheduling. In-person skills sessions take approximately 2 hours to complete.
