AHA PALS Provider Course (Initial / Expired):

PALS Provider + BLS

For First Time or Expired PALS Certifications that also need to renew their AHA BLS

Class Options for AHA PALS Renewals

AHA PALS Renewal Requirement: This renewal option is strictly for students holding an active, non-expired AHA PALS certification. Certifications from other organizations (such as ARC or ASHI) are not accepted. AHA cards are valid for 2 years through the last day of the month issued. DO NOT register for this option if your certification is expired.

Is there an online only option for the American Heart Association classes?

Hybrid option available via AHA HeartCode Part 2 (online course + in-person skills check). Not recommended for first-time students.

What concepts does the AHA PALS class cover?

Covers respiratory, cardiac, and shock emergencies (hypovolemic, distributive, obstructive, cardiogenic), pharmacology, and resuscitation team dynamics and leadership.

How long is my AHA certification valid?

Your official AHA certification is valid for two (2) years and remains active through the last day of the month in which you took your class.
